Testimonials - what Theresa's clients are saying about her . .
quote"5 stars for Theresa Plasencia! I wish I would have gone to see Theresa Plasencia years sooner. I was leaking and urinating frequently. Before I went to see her I tried bladder training with little success (and also it was time consuming and always on my mind.) Going to see her was so much quicker and I improved so much after 4 to 6 weeks. She taught me the right way to do kegels and I have improved so much. I continue to do the exercises at home 15 minutes a day (only once a day.) Teresa has a very calm and relaxing demeanor and is easy to work with.
- Ellen "
quoteQuoteFinding physical therapy for male pudendal neuropathy is difficult, as most pelvic pain clinics cater to women only. I highly recommend consulting Theresa Plasencia MPT. She is an experienced, knowledgeable and caring therapist who has helped me improve immensely. I am now better able to cope with chronic pelvic pain."

- anonymous,
Theresa - I will be forever grateful to you. You were the only person that was able to identify and treat the chronic pain I had been suffering with for nine years. Your knowledge of pelvic pain and the persistence you showed in coming up with new ways to treat it was remarkable. I am also thankful for the compassion you showed me during this difficult time. I had been to countless therapists over the past nine years and you truly are the best. With heartfelt gratitude"

what to expect when you visit TPPT

After a thorough initial assessment of the patient's medical history, an evaluation of posture, joint mobility, muscle play, fascial tissue and neural tension takes place. Next, a therapeutic plan and intervention program designed for the individual patient is formed. In addition to manual techniques, a therapeutic exercise program is developed for the patient to continue their care at home. Treatments are approximately one hour in length.

"I worked closely with Theresa for several years when she was affiliated with my clinic in Excelsior. I came to appreciate and respect Theresa's abilities as a therapist and her great rapport with patients. Patients I referred to her would return to me expressing their gratitude for what she was able to accomplish to improve their pain and function. Her work complemented my practice and treatment method called Prolotherapy, helping patients take that additional step to return to the things they love to do. I highly recommend Theresa to anyone looking to get closer attention and better results than they would with the standard physical therapy formulas. She's outstanding!"
